Spelthorne Sports produced a superb performance on Tuesday evening, securing a 3-4 away victory against league leaders Bedfont in the Combined Counties League Division One.

The visitors made a lightning start to the match as Sean McDonnell struck twice inside the opening nine minutes to give Spelthorne an early advantage. Zach Cox added a third in the 16th minute, putting Spelthorne firmly in control inside the first quarter of an hour.

Bedfont responded through Jake Beck-Nardoni, Alfie Harburn, and Cyril Ocansey, bringing the hosts back into the contest.

However, Keion'dre Ellis-Vassell restored Spelthorne’s lead in the 68th minute, a goal that ultimately proved decisive as Spelthorne held on to secure an impressive victory against the division’s current leaders.
